Nachtexpress metal print by Hartmut Knisel. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
Imagine, it's back in 1980, you are 16 years old, enjoying a nice holiday in Bavaria (Germany), with your almost new Pentax ME SLR and a grid filter. There's a small railcar passing your apartment almost every 2 hours. It's night and you want to shoot a great photo. You have no tripod, only a big rock near the crossing. And you have only one (longterm) shoot. That's the resulting photo. Not perfect, but to that time one of my best ones.
About Hartmut Knisel
Born 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany. BA in Mechanical Engineering (Stuttgart University). Working as Technical Translator (Freelancer) since 1993. Photography since 1978. As "technic freak" exploring and collecting analog and digital cameras from Pentax (starting with ME in 1978), Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Fuji. Some experience with exhibitions, especially with picture/text combinations, as I am also an amateur writer (above all poetry in German). Married, 2 kids. "I never thought that I would sell pictures, because I'm the worst stock photography contributor of all times."
