From a series that aims to shoot trees as a base for painting. The painting process itself was digital with several tools. It's interesting, because aspects like composition and figural impression become more important than the exact (sharp) reflection of the existing nature.
About Hartmut Knisel
Born 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany. BA in Mechanical Engineering (Stuttgart University). Working as Technical Translator (Freelancer) since 1993. Photography since 1978. As "technic freak" exploring and collecting analog and digital cameras from Pentax (starting with ME in 1978), Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Fuji. Some experience with exhibitions, especially with picture/text combinations, as I am also an amateur writer (above all poetry in German). Married, 2 kids. "I never thought that I would sell pictures, because I'm the worst stock photography contributor of all times."
